In the shadows of an unfinished Temple, the story unfolds…

The Master’s Tragedy captures the most solemn moment in Masonic allegory — the loss of a Master, the silence of his work interrupted. Created in the chiaroscuro style of a 17th-century oil painting, this piece offers more than a scene; it offers reflection.

At the center lies Hiram Abiff, fallen yet dignified. The Temple around him rises in half-finished grandeur: stone, scaffold, column, and shadow. Cloaked figures linger in quiet judgment, their identities obscured, their presence unmistakable. A single shaft of divine light cuts through the gloom, illuminating not only the Master but the sacred labor paused around him.

This is not a work of drama, but of reverence. A legend rendered in stillness. A meditation on duty, loss, and legacy.

Framed in Ayous wood sourced from eco-conscious forests, each piece is a museum-quality matte print made with vibrant, water-based ink on archival paper. The 0.75” thick wooden frame adds a timeless touch to this deeply symbolic work.
